I live a terribly conflicting lifestyle. One where I strive for organization and neatness because it's so pleasing and appealing to me; however, I'm such a hot mess 99% of time I forget what I was trying to even get organized in the first place. I'm a procrastinator to the max, forgetful as hell, so indecisive it hurts, and sometime just a little reckless. On the up side, I'm extremely passionate when I finally put my mind to something, dream pretty big, and am an open book, which is where this blog comes into play. I needed somewhere to elaborate on and document my journey with my horses. Something I can look back on in ten years and feel all the feels seeing my babies grow up all over again. A place I can reflect on mistakes and grow from them. I've had such a great time doing this through Instagram so far, so I figured I'd take it one step further and create a space I can get a little deeper into our lives with you guys. (:

MEET THE AUTHOR
This colt is the first horse of my very own, ever. I had one of those passionate and reckless moments where I just decided "Hell with it.. I'm buying a mini horse" and I happened to stumble upon this incredible creature who changed my life forever.. who knew. Jasper was born September 22, 2016. He is an AMHR registered miniature horse and a leopard appaloosa in color. He is the biggest goofball I have ever met - his personality weighs about 100 times more than the little body he's trapped in. I've been out smarted by this dare devil more times than I like to admit. He spent about the first year of his life walking on two legs because he is not scared of anything and feels the need to let everyone know. We all know that one person who instantly becomes friends with everyone.. and that is my horse. He needs every horse and human to be his friend and will do just about anything to get everyone's attention.. he will also try to sneak in a bite once you let your guard down so guess I'm not the only contradicting one.

Miniature horses truly are like potato chips... you can't have just one. Shortly after getting Jasper home I knew he needed a bro his size to rough house with, so Wallace soon joined our family. He is an AMHR/AMHA registered colt born on May 13, 2017. He is also an appaloosa so we now have double the spots. Wallace is basically Jasper's opposite. He is a sweet, sensitive mamas boy who needs lots of encouragement to help him through this scary world. He loves to snuggle, but don't let him fool you... he has absolutely no patience and has no problem letting you know when you become a bore. If you scratch his itchy spots, he will politely groom you back, and if you're lucky you might even get a big wet kiss on the nose.
